Nonn's Kitchen Bath and Flooring is currently seeking a qualified candidate to succeed in the role of Countertop Sales Professional at their Middleton, WI location.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager with the responsibility to build and develop client relationships and to prepare and / or coordinate estimates on projects of all sizes as required by client inquiries.
Join a team with a 30 year commitment to offering first-quality materials, competitive prices, and unmatched service. Essential Duties / Responsibilities of the Countertop Sales Professional : Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates and other documents to
understand scope of work to bid.* Obtains pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.* Prepares cost analysis in computer by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.
- Develops bid calendar and ensures timely completion of estimates.* Once an estimate becomes a project, communicates with and turns over jobs to Project Manager(s) and assists in clarifying information regarding the project.
- Communicates effectively to build relationships with current and potential clients.* Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
Qualifications of the Countertop Sales Professional : (1) A two-year degree in Business or similar plus one year of experience providing technical estimates or (2) a high school degree and four years of experience providing technical estimates.
- Computer literate, preferably Microsoft Windows operating system and applications. (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).* Proven excellent organizational, communication, attention to detail, and follow through skills.
- Proven track record of effectively working well with people over the telephone.* Ability to work with technical information involving basic conceptual drawings as well as an understanding of general mechanical concepts.
- Overall general mechanical aptitude.* Good math, spatial and computational skills.Nonn's Flooring was founded over 30 years ago, and over that time, we've become the largest independent retailer of flooring in Wisconsin.
